About Her
How do I start? I am a great cook and baker! I would love to explore and travel. Not retired yet, but hoping to in the next couple of years. Widowed since 1/2024 after a wonderful, loving 23-year marriage to my best friend. I am not looking to ever replace my LH, as I know that is not possible or fair to anyone else. But I am open to the possibility that God may have someone for me in this next chapter of life.
I am a born-again Christian, but I am not "religious". It is a relationship and Jesus is my Rock, especially in the past 2 years.
I am independent and not into drama, at all. I have been through a lot in my life and know the value and of a good man who wants a helpmate that loves him for who he is. Who doesnt mind sharing in household chores and doesnt need "mothering". Who wants to share their hopes and dreams and listen.
I am honest, caring, and can sometimes be a bit silly. I miss big hugs and cuddling on the couch. I am not much of a planner, more like a spur of the moment, let's "wing it" type of person. I have never driven or owned an RV before, but I have always wanted to and would to travel and explore the country that way. Maybe someday that could hapoen. I am a great cook (yes, I said that before) and miss preparing meals for more than just me. I lead a pretty quiet life and enjoy home improvement projects when I am not working
I would rather go shopping at Home Depot than a clothing store!
I am looking for a man who loves God and knows how to cherish a woman. A man who leads, but not demands, who is kind and has a great sense of humor and loves to be loved. Who appreciates small gestures without expecting them or demanding them. Is that too much to hope for? My this was a ramble. Obviously, this is out of my comfort zone.
